Rising British country music soloist Andy Brown returns with his gorgeous new single ‘John Travolta’. The track is simply beautiful and really shines a light on the former Lawson frontman’s songwriting ability and soaring vocals.
Brown has a way of weaving heartfelt, relatable lyrics into any song he shares and this one is no different. Its soft acoustic guitar production gives it extra meaning and allows for the Liverpool born singer/songwriter’s vocals to really shine like never before.
It’s not overproduced but is instead a simple love song about not being able to dance freely in public spaces but feeling at one with the music when he dances alone in the kitchen with his true love. It has sweet sentiments and is Andy Brown’s best release to date, it certainly wouldn’t seem out of place on a Lady Antebellum album thanks to its gentle guitar chords and poignant lyrics.
Talking about the track on social media, Andy simply said: “I wrote a song about being really bad at dancing”. But it is so much more than that. It is a truly wonderful piece of music that will have couples falling deeper in love after just one listen.
