Fulham to make late decision over Aleksandar Mitrovic for Wolves

Fulham head coach Marco Silva will make a late decision over Aleksandar Mitrovics fitness but has conceded it will be difficult for his top scorer to be involved against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva will make a late decision over Aleksandar Mitrovic’s fitness but has conceded it will be “difficult” for his top scorer to be involved against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Serbian international is currently sidelined with a minor hamstring injury which ruled him out of Fulham’s 1-0 over Brighton last Saturday.

The 28-year-old is back training but Silva is unsure whether he will have recovered enough to play a part on Friday night.

“It will be difficult for him to be ready, but we have some more time until tomorrow,” he said on Thursday.

“Today he was on the pitch, outside, and let’s see what the news will be for tomorrow.

“It will be difficult but it was good to see him outside the last few days, doing some specific work.

“So let’s see the reaction from today and tomorrow we are going to make a decision.”

Fulham will be without Tom Cairney (ankle) and Neeskens Kebano (achilles) for the visit of Wolves.

Silva’s side are sixth in the Premier League, and have won six matches since the World Cup break.
