Without brotherly love, what do we have? Prince Harry and Prince William are just like any other set of grown brothers; they give one another a hard time and don’t take their relationship so seriously that they can’t have a little fun together. After news broke earlier this week of the new royal baby on the way, Prince Harry couldn’t help but make a few comments about his excitement over having another nephew or a little niece on the way.
“I can’t wait to see my brother suffer more,” he joked when asked how he felt about his brother and sister-in-law welcoming a new baby. He then goes on to say he would, “love to see him try and cope with that,” when asked if he hoped his brother would have a daughter this time.
“I hope the two of them have the opportunity to go through the process again with a little bit of peace and quiet,” and then states that his sister-in-law is feeling very sick and “doing the best she can” given her circumstances in dealing with extreme morning sickness.
The fact that his new niece or nephew means that he’s one step further from being the King of England one day doesn’t seem to phase the Prince, who has always been one more to enjoy the socialism that comes along with his title. From what Prince Harry has to say, he’s excited to have either a niece or nephew, and he’s obviously very close to his brother and sister-in-law. As far as his nephew, George, Prince Harry doesn’t seem to think he’ll have an issue adjusting to becoming a big brother.
“I think George will be over the moon. He will be thrilled having another small younger brother or sister,” he said of his one-year-old nephew’s take on the situation.
