She received the Bavarian Film Award for “Best New Actress” in 2005.

Along with Burghart Klaußner, Imogen Kogge, Anna Blomeier, Nicholas Reinke, Jens Harzer, and Walter Schmidinger, Sandra Hüller co-starred as Michaela Klingler in the drama film Requiem in 2006. This role won her the award for “Best Actress” at the German Film Awards, German Film Critics Award, and Sitges Film Festival as well as the “Silver Bear for Best Actress” award at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2006.
